Measure the distance between locations on the iPhone or iPad
Open the Maps app on your iPad or iPhone and then do the following to measure the distance.

You should view your current location in blue on the Map. Click the Info button located at the top and choose Mark My Location. However, it will place a pin on the map at your spot.

Now at the bottom, click Edit Location.

Note: The pin will remain in the center of the screen. So you’ll just zoom in or out and move the map until the pin is on desire the location. Click Done.

You’ll then view the distance and can get the directions between the two locations. However, you can also click the Swap button to reverse the directions if required.
How to Measure the distance between locations on Mac:
Open the Maps app on your Mac and then do the following to measure the distance.
Step 1:
Firstly, Find your first location on the map.
Step 2:
Tap Directions.
Step 3:
In the top spot under My Location, tap and input the second location.
If important, you can tap the Swap button to modify the locations around and view the directions or just view the distance between them.
