Add a link in Keynote on Mac
If you want to open your slideshow in Keynote for editing. Then move to the slide where you like to add a link. You can also choose text or an object for your link.
Add a link to a webpage
Step 1:
With your text or object is chosen, right-tap or hold Control and tap.
Step 2:
Then put your cursor over Add Link and choose Webpage.
Step 3:
A small pop-up window appears, input the URL for the page.
You can also double-check the URL by tapping Open Link if you like.
Add a link to another slide
Step 1:
While using your text or object selected, right-tap or hold Control and tap.
Step 2:
Then put your cursor over Add Link and choose Slide.
Step 3:
In the pop-up window, select the slide. You can instantly select the next, previous, first, last, or last viewed slide. Or, you can choose some slide numbers in the drop-down.
If you want to confirm you have the correct slide, you can tap Go to Slide.
Add a link to an email address
Step 1:
While using your text or object selected, right-tap or hold Control and tap.
Step 2:
Then put your cursor over Add Link and choose Email.
Step 3:
In the pop-up window, input the email address and mandatory a Subject. You can also check that the email address and subject seem correct by tapping Compose Email.
Add a link to exit the slideshow
Step 1:
While using your text or object selected, right-tap or hold Control and tap.
Step 2:
Now add your cursor over Add Link and choose any of the options.
Step 3:
In the pop-up window, tap the Link to drop-down box chooses Exit Slideshow.
Add a link in Keynote on iPhone or iPad
Just open Keynote on your iPhone or iPad to your presentation. Move to the slide where you like the link and then do one of the following.
Add a link to a webpage
Step 1:
Choose the text or object and click to bring up the shortcut menu. Click the arrow until you view Link and click it.
Step 2:
Also, click Link To and select Webpage.
Step 3:
Next to Link, input the URL for the page.
Step 4:
Click the X to close the Link Settings window.
Add a link to another slide
Step 1:
Initially, choose the text or object and click to bring up the shortcut menu. Also, click the arrow until you view Link and click it.
Step 2:
Click Link To and select Slide.
Step 3:
Like on Mac, you can choose the next, previous, first, last, or last viewed slide. Or, click Link To Slide and pick a certain slide number.

Also. Click the X to close the Link Settings window.
Add a link to an email address
Step 1:
Firstly, choose the text or object and click to bring up the shortcut menu. Click the arrow until you view Link and click it.
Step 2:
Click Link To and select Email.
Step 3:
Input the email address and mandatory a Subject.
Step 4:
Click the X to close the Link Settings window.
Add a link to exit the slideshow
Step 1:
Initially choose the text or object and click to bring up the shortcut menu. Also, click the arrow until you see Link and click it.

Also, click Link To and choose Slide.

Move to the bottom and select Exit Slideshow.
Step 4:
Click the X to close the Link Settings window.
