Devices with the same processors scored different points in AnTuTu. The difference between the first and last places is 27 thousand. The company AnTuTu published the August rating of the most productive smartphones on Android. As you might expect, all the devices mentioned in it work on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. However, the placement of seats has changed in comparison with the rating for July, and cardinally – one smartphone moved from the second place to the sixth, and some even dropped out of the list.
As in the previous times, the first place is occupied by the gamer’s Xiaomi Black Shark with 292,877 points (the arithmetic mean is indicated based on the latest tests). If ASUS finally launched sales of its ROG Phone, the leader in the AnTuTu rating would surely have changed – according to official announcements, the gaming smartphone from ASUS is gaining more than 304 thousand points in this benchmark. However, the Chinese company makes its top-10 on the basis of devices that have been tested at least 1 thousand times. Since ROG Phone never went on sale, no one has tested it so much.
Compiled by AnTuTu August ranking of the most productive smartphones on Android is as follows:
- Xiaomi Black Shark – 292 887 points.
- Meizu 16 – 291 025 points.
- Smartisan Nut R1 – 289 490 points.
- Vivo NEX S – 286 286 points.
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition – 286 268 points.
- OPPO Find X – 285 344 points.
- OnePlus 6 – 284 470 points.
- Samsung Galaxy Note 9 – 282 958 points.
- Xiaomi Mi 8 – 272 527 points.
- Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S – 265 256 points.
Compared with the July rating, the new top 10 has significantly changed: OPPO Find X dropped from the second place to the sixth place, Vivo NEX S – from the third to the fourth, and OnePlus 6 now occupies the seventh line of the rating (instead of the fourth). Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + completely disappeared from the list, and Smartisan Nut R1 somehow miraculously raised the average score of tests by almost 15 thousand points and jumped from fifth to third place.
Recently, Huawei introduced the Kirin 980 processor, built on the advanced 7-nanometer process technology. According to the manufacturer, it is significantly more productive than Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. The first smartphone based on Kirin 980 will be Huawei Mate 20, the output of which is expected in mid-October. Perhaps the October or November rating of AnTuTu will finally get a new leader.
