iPhone XS Max has lost the photographic test camera Huawei P20 Pro

DxOMark experts put the novelty in second place in their ranking of the best cameras with 105 points. In the first place is the flagship Huawei. Experts in the field of mobile photography from the portal DxOMark tested the new iPhone XS Max and appreciated its capabilities in the shooting. New from Apple has a powerful camera, but it has not received the maximum rating, as has often happened in the past.

During testing, significant improvements were noted compared to last year’s iPhone X. The strengths of the iPhone XS Max are shooting photos and videos in good lighting conditions. Here optical stabilization and fast autofocus are excellent.

However, in darker conditions, the sensor behaves not so well. There are a lot of noise and artifacts with increasing images. In this regard, XS Max loses much to the current leader of the DxOMark ranking – the Huawei P20 Pro with its 109 points.

Nevertheless, Apple’s smartphone offers excellent detail in all conditions. Especially in the photos, there is a good color rendition. Apple’s bokeh effect is still almost the best in mobile photography. Of the problems, an unstable white balance setting was noted when shooting in rooms and additional noise when using the backlight in low-light conditions.
