Japanese mobile operator KDDI announced an unusual bright button phone Infobar XV in honor of the anniversary of the design line.
Back in 2003, KDDI introduced a button smartphone on Android called Infobar, created according to the concept of the famous designer Naoto Fukasawa. The device was so unusual that he got to the New York Museum of Modern Art. In the following years, the operator released five more Infobar models, made by Sanyo, Sharp, HTC, and Kyocera. The seventh generation of smartphones Infobar returns the line to the original sources.
Infobar XV is still a button smartphone on Android in the classic form factor, but its software has been greatly changed taking into account the preferences of Japanese users and is also oriented closer to the interface of the phone than the smartphone.
The novelty is equipped with a 3.1-inch display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. It is also known about the presence of an 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE-module. The battery capacity is 1500 mAh, the length of the device is 138 mm, and the thickness is 14 mm.

Designed smartphone Naoto Fukasawa. Infobar XV will be available in three colors: classic Nishikigoi (red), Nasukon (blue) and Cherry Berry (purple). In all versions, there are inserts of other colors. The device will be on sale in the domestic market in October this year. The price has not been announced yet.
