HideStatusBarItemsPro Hides anything From Statusbar

Statusbar helps to display relevant information at a glance. Be it your Home screen, Lock screen, or in an app. Similarly, when you have enough going on, the Status Bar can become particularly cluttered rather quickly.

This potential issue for some iOS handset users recognized by Chashmeet Singh iOS developer and with that in mind, a new jailbreak tweak dubbed HideStatusBarItemsPro was quickly conceived.

The tweak is loved by Minimalists. HideStatusBarItemsPro just as the name implies. Now lets users hide virtually anything that normally resides in the Status Bar interface.

HideStatusBarItemsPro puts a new preference pane in the Settings app. As a result, the user can toggle the tweak off or on and choose what appears in the Status Bar and what doesn’t:

The list is has broken up into two sections and it is particularly extensive:

  • 1) Lock screen
  • 2) SpringBoard

As we already know that hidden items from the Lock screen section won’t appear on the Lock screen. But they still appear in the SpringBoard unless they’re hidden there too.

User can hide the following things:

  • Do Not Disturb icon
  • Airplane Mode icon
  • Signal strength indicator
  • Carrier text
  • Wi-Fi strength indicator
  • Battery level indicator
  • Battery percentage readout
  • Bluetooth icon
  • Alarm icon
  • Location icon
  • Orientation Lock icon
  • Screen Mirroring indicator
  • VPN icon

The developer includes blue Apply Changes! button at the bottom of the preference pane. This button used to save any changes you make.

It’s worth noting that popular all-in-one jailbreak tweaks such as HideStatusBarItemsPro. It offer just a bit more flexibility in terms of what can be hidden and where but Springtomize offer similar functionality out of the box.

Those users who are interested in trying HideStatusBarItemsPro can purchase it for $1.00 from the Packix repository in Cydia or Sileo. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 11 and 12 handsets including iPad and iPhones.
