Create a Poll With Multiple Answers: Polls are extremely useful when it comes to recording one’s suggestion/feedback. However, today we will view how to create a poll where users can cast their votes on more than choices. Yes, getting various answers to a question can get you better feedback at some times. Let’s see how your Android device can help you get various answers in a poll. However, we are using two methods for this:
- Survey Monkey app
- Telegram app
Using SurveyMonkey app
Follow the steps carefully:
Step 1:
At first, install the SurveyMonkey App from Google Playstore.
Step 2:
Then open the app and click on Create Survey.
Step 3:
If you like to use a commonly used template, click on Browse Template Gallery otherwise click on New Survey.
Step 4:
Provide your survey a title. Then click CREATE. However, If your survey is of more than one page, you can select a separate title pagewise and some description to it under Page Title option.
Step 5:
Click on the Plus sign and then choose Multiple Choice to add answers & questions to the survey you just created.
Step 6:
Also, add the question and answer choices.
Step 7:
Also, click on Selection Type under Settings and choose Multi-select (checkboxes).
Step 8:
When done, click on Save.
Step 9:
If you like to add more questions to the survey, just follow the same steps as step 5 to step 8.
Step 10:
Once done adding the questions, click on 3 Dots located at the top right.
Step 11:
Click on Preview & Test to preview the actual look and functionality of the survey. Also, try marking different options as an answer and click on Done.
Step 12:
After testing the preview, head back from the edit menu by clicking the back button.
Step 13:
Click on Send to collect responses and then click on Mobile Link.
Step 14:
Also, Share the created survey to its required audience using the available choices.
Step 15:
To check the result of the survey, head back to the Summary menu from where you choose Send to collect responses.
Step 16:
Click Analyze your results to view the number of responses you get for your survey.
Step 17:
You will also be able to find all the active surveys and their reviews on the app Home screen.
Step 18:
To close an active survey just click on the View Details option of the survey you created.
Step 19:
Also, click on Manage and disable the active radio buttons to stop receiving responses for the survey.
Step 20:
Make sure the status of the survey must be updated to CLOSED.
Using the Telegram app
However, creating a poll with various answers as an option is quite difficult. However, firstly you would need to create a personal bot first, and then the poll.
Part 1: How to create a personal bot in Telegram App
To create a pool where you can cast various choices as your answers. Just you need to create a Personal Bot. You will also be able to publish polls on various groups and channels on behalf of your personal bot. However, to create a personal bot, just follow the below-mentioned steps.
Step 1:
Firstly, Open the Telegram App. Click on the top right Search icon.
Step 2:
Now type @quanbot in the search bar and choose Quan (@QuanBot).
Step 3:
Click on START and then click on your preferred language.
Step 4:
Click on the edit message, type /newpoll and share it.
Step 5:
Make sure if you already have a personal bot. Then it’ll show under the Personal bot menu. Alternatively, click on +Add bot to create a new bot.
Step 6:
Also, move to the bottom and click on @BotFather.
Step 7:
Once click BotFather will open and then click on START.
Step 8:
Type /newbot in the edit message area and then tap send.
Step 9:
Select a name for your bot and input it.
Step 10:
However, if your name already exists in the Telegram App, it’ll prompt again to try some other name. Alternatively, confirmation of your new personal bot will be shown.
Step 11:
Now, click and hold on the token to copy it.
Note: Make sure to keep the token safe and secure because anyone can take control over your personal bot once you access the token.
Step 12:
Click on the Back (←) button and choose Quan. Also, paste the copied token and press the Send button to add your personal bot.
Step 13:
However, after adding your personal bot, a message stating that “Your personal bot @example_bot has been added.” will be shown along with the personal bot menu.
Once done adding the personal bot, click on the name of your personal bot to create a poll.
Part 2: How to create a poll with various answers selection
Follow the steps carefully to create a poll with multiple answers selection:
Step 1:
Click on the personal bot you just added to start creating a poll.
Step 2:
Input /newpoll.
Note: Input /help in the edit message area to check the choices available.
Step 3:
However, to continue working with the personal bot you created. Just accept the terms and conditions mentioned under /copyright section. Also, go through every point to have a good understanding of bot usage.
Step 4:
Click on “Yes, I accept the terms of the agreement” to get started.
Step 5:
However, you can also add more description of the poll describing its actual purpose target audience, etc. or just type the name of the poll you want to create and click the send button.
Step 6:
The poll menu displays from where you can add different choices to the question.
Step 7:
After adding enough choices, click on Settings.
Step 8:
Click on the Multi-select icon to turn on multiple answers selection.
Step 9:
Use the up and down icons to limit the number of choices one can choose.
Step 10:
Click on Test to check whether the user can choose various choices as the answer.
Step 11:
Click on Finish icon to complete editing the poll.
Note: While creating and publishing the latest poll using Personal bot costs 10 Coins. You will also be able to add coins using your credit card by clicking on the Balance under Menu. However, you can get 100 coins for 106 RUB.
Step 12:
After clicking the Finish button, if balance is more than 10 coins, the poll will be created successfully. Also, a link will be generated which can be shared with others. Also, click on the created link to share it on a group or channel.
Step 13:
Choose the group you want to share and tap OK to add the bot.
Step 14:
The poll can share with the people in the selected group. However, you can also check the poll results by clicking on the My Polls choices available on the personal bot menu (/menu).

Setting up the poll with different answers in a bit of a task on Telegram but no so much on Survey Monkey. However, the latter is a good choice for you. But if you already use Telegram a lot, then keeping up with the app will make sense.
